Unlocked versions of Moto Z smartphones allow you to switch carriers just by swapping out the SIM card. Moto Z and Moto Z Play works on AT&T, T-Mobile and compatible GSM networks. The Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Play Droid are only on Verizon. But remember, some Moto Z phones are exclusive to certain cell phone carriers. How ever I feel the moto projector really hit that sweet price/performance mark, minus battery life, but I had no problem projecting a full star wars old trilogy marathon with a few buddies of mine with the phone plugged into a 21000mah battery.Moto mod projector review: great for movies and gaming Personally I like the moto mod projector for the same reason I like the moto mods, they may not be the best thing for the price, but they are more convenient than any other option. Pros- can project any device(not locked to just the phone) easier focus adjustment, typically can adjust screen size without having to move full unit, built in speakers are(typically) louderĬons-external power source needed, video quality is mediocre at best, needs absolute darkness for best visibile quality, loud (typical have fans, extra cables needed. Pros-convent(attached right to phone, no extra power source or wires need, auto keystoning works well, looks good even at full 72in screen size, easy to keep powered with decent output battery pack(2.1amp+)Ĭons-short battery life(2-3 hours with both phone and mod fully charged) doesn't have a louder speaker so stuck using stock moto speaker(easily fixed with Bluetooth speaker, but that adds another device to bring) only way to adjust screen size is moving whole device, focus adjustment can't be challenging to adjust(hard to adjust as device moves when adjusting), background/ ambient light can be a issue. I can't compare it to the mini projectors your talking about, but I can compare it too the cheap 150 Chinesium projectors.
